About why I opened this store:
My hometown is in mainland China. My family is more traditional. My grandfather is very fond of Chinese calligraphy and Chinese ink painting, and he has his own art studio. My mom is a high school Chinese teacher. Influenced by my family, I was introduced to calligraphy and Chinese painting at a very young age. In China, calligraphy is a mandatory class for almost every child.
Later after I graduated from college, I went to work in Hong Kong. In the course of my work, I met many foreign friends and colleagues to whom I would occasionally give my calligraphy works. They showed great interest in calligraphy and painting and were eager to learn calligraphy. I would occasionally bring them calligraphy supplies from China, but when they returned to their home countries, they found it difficult to buy the right calligraphy supplies from around them. So, in 2018, I decided to start this website to make it easy for some foreign friends to buy professional Chinese calligraphy supplies.
Of course I contacted a calligraphy factory in mainland China, and I think their products are very professional. They are willing to give me a very good price. So your purchases will be packaged and shipped in mainland China. At the same time, I also hope to build a calligraphy community where people can communicate together, including sharing and giving away some great works to everyone.
